Who We Are

Our History

Petersburg Alaska American Legion Post-14 was established in 1920 by a group of dedicated community members who saw the need for a local organization focused on supporting the Petersburg community. Since then, we have created a civic scholarship fund for students, supported a program to feed the homeless in our community, provided grave markers to honor the service of veterans, ensuring no service member’s grave goes unmarked, and aspire to achieve even more in the future.
